The Extraction Lounge Book an Appointment

FAQ

Questions,answered.

What happens at my first appointment?

We talk first. We'll go through your skin's history, what you're currently using, what has irritated you before and what you'd like to change. That conversation decides what treatment makes sense — we confirm the plan with you before we begin anything.

Do I need a consultation before a treatment?

Some treatments begin with one and some don't. When you book, we'll confirm whether your chosen service needs a consultation first so there are no surprises on the day.

How should I prepare?

Come as you are. It helps if you can tell us what you've been using on your skin recently — including any prescription products, oral medication or recent treatments elsewhere — so we can plan something appropriate and safe for you.

How often should I come in?

It depends on your skin and your goals, and it changes over time. We'll recommend a rhythm after we've seen how your skin responds, rather than putting everyone on the same schedule.

What do treatments cost?

Pricing depends on the treatment and on the plan we agree together. We confirm the cost with you before your appointment. Please email info@extractionlounge.com and we'll talk it through.

How do I book?

Use the Book Appointment button anywhere on this site, or send us a note through the contact form and we'll find a time that works for you.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Get in touch as early as you can and we'll rearrange. Our cancellation policy has the details.

Is this medical treatment?

No. Our services are cosmetic skincare treatments. We don't diagnose skin conditions and we're not a substitute for medical care. If something you show us would be better assessed by a physician or dermatologist, we'll say so.

Will I get the results I've seen elsewhere?

Skin responds differently from person to person, so we won't promise a specific outcome. What we will do is be honest with you about what a treatment can reasonably achieve for your skin, and how long it's likely to take.
